Premier Alaska Tour Jobs
Dear Mr. Taylor
I’m interested in the Rail Host Guide position for your tours going from Anchorage to Fairbanks. I was sent your application by one of your previous employees Hunter Thompson and I think my experience in tourism would make me great for the position.
I’ve worked in and out of the tourist industry for years now. Four years of this was spent as a Horseback Riding guide on a Dude Ranch outside Yellowstone. Here I helped work with guests in the office checking people in and getting them situated and on the trail. I’d be in charge of entertaining and guiding the guests for the duration of the ride.
I’ve been working in Juneau Alaska as a Driver Guide for the last two years. Here I give tours based on the history of the city and offer explanations of the local environment. From this job I also have experience with walking tours.
Because of the experience I’ve already had, I think the position of Rail Host Guide is one I’ll slip into easily.
I’ve filled out the application on your website and hope to hear from you soon. I understand your busy schedule and plan to follow up in a few weeks. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
McKinley Gerber
